What are you doing now?
Since leaving Fay, I have persued my passion for acting. I have worked with the director of Spider's Web many times since.

Did you return to Fay after the year of filming?
I have not returned to Fay, although I often think of doing so to visit my old friends like Megan and Merideth. Whenever I go up to Boston I always hope to take a detour to Southbourough, but time has not allowed it.

What was it like being filmed?

I don't know if I'd be a subject of a documentary again. When I found out that someone wanted to make a documentary about me and seven other girls, I said "that sounds like fun," just like I thought boarding school sounded like fun! I didn't really know what being filmed for a year entails. At first everyone's all happy, so being filmed isn't hars. But, then, you realize that you have to be filmed ALL the time, even when you are upset because you're late for dinner, or you have to say goodby to your parents, or you're mad at another girl. For me, letting someone capture my vulnerabilities on film for all the world to see wasn't easy to say the least. After watching the film, I see how important it is to show your weaknesses. Sometimes you don't want others in the "real world" to know what you're feeling, because it's private. I see that it's important to at least show the filmer who's "outside the real world" your true feelings, because you want the audience of the film to understand your reasons for being angery or upset, etc.

How was that year for you?
My year at Fay was anything but easy, but I suppose I can say that about every year in my life. It was a year that taught me so many things and mainly about being your own parent and empathy. I have always had a lot of independance. Because my mom travelled a lot when I was young, I was forced to become mature quickly. At boarding school, I had to learn to put to use my maturity and become a parent to myself. While I had friends and a wonderful, motherly advisor, and dorm parents and administration always keeping tabs on me, I still felt very alone that year.

What did you learn?
Regarding empathy, I now know to understand other people more even if they don't try to understand you. I know now that we have all gained something from our good and bad experiences at Fay. I now try to look at every problem as a learning experience, even if the lesson itsn't learned until many years later.

Anything you want to tell the audiences who see the film?

In the film, because of time and the story plot, the audience misses a lot of the good times we had, the cooky times we had, the friends I had, and a lot of boarding school routines we had.
and...I gave the title!!!!!!!! :-)

What are you doing now?
I am a junior, so I am so stressed out. all those college stuff!!!!! =(

How was the rest of your experience at Fay?
It was so great. I never knew that Fay was a great place until the 9th
grade spring.

What was it like being filmed?
I felt like a movie actress or something. Not actually an actress, but I
felt like I was one of those MTV Real World people.

How was that year for you?

It was so much fun!

How have you changed since?
I've got matured a lot. I am not that supoiled and annoying like I was in
7th grade.

I can't exactly tell you what I learned, because there are so many things

What are you doing now?
Right now, i'm trying to focus on doing well academically so that i can go to a good college. I'm also training for the upcoming lacrosse season, in March. I've still got a long time until then, but i want to be in good shape.

Did you return to Fay after the year of filming?
Yes.

Why or why not?
It was my new home, my parents weren't going to let me go back to chicago, so i had to stay, but i liked my friends so it wasn't so bad.

How was the rest of your experience at Fay?
The rest of my time at Fay, was definitely a roller coaster. There were many ups and downs, but i guess that's just part of growing up.

What was it like being filmed?
I actually enjoyed the filming most of the time, occasionaly it would be annoying but i remember always wanting to be on film. Sometimes, it was awkward, like when we'd get back from a long break and be saying bye to all of our parents, but over all i liked it.

How was that year for you?
That year was very intresting. Again full of ups and downs. It was hard being away from home for the whole school year, and i missed my old friends and parents a lot. It kinda sucks when you lose all the freedom, you have to live under pretty strict rules, and the food was not so good, although better than what i get now!

How have you changed since?
Since Fay, oh yeah.

What did you learn?
I've learned a lot about the sort of people you come across in life. There are always going to be people you don't like, and everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I think i learned a lot about myself too, because i learned what kind of person i was, and the people i like to be around. I'm not really into that whole making people feel bad for no reason stuff, that happend then.

What are you doing now?
I am finishing up school and then plan on going to either Hamline or Augsburg University and plan on majoring in international business

Did you return to Fay after the year of filming?
Yes

Why or why not?
I came partly because I wanted to and partly because I had no other choice.

How was the rest of your experience at Fay?
I really enjoyed the last year of Fay, much more then the first year actually.

What was it like being filmed?
It was exciting, but at times it could be a bit annoying and overwhelming

How was that year for you?
It was a year where I adapted to a totally new environment and learned a lot about myself and what I was capable of doing.

How have you changed since?

I really think that I have changed alot since 8th grade. I have become much more mature and independent.

What did you learn?
I learned that I am not capable of doing everything and at times I can be extremely stubborn and arrogant.

Anything you want to tell the audiences who see the film?
I don't really like the person that I was back then. I had recently dealt with a lot of family issues and my fathers death and back then I was just trying to adjust to such a drastic change and sometimes it was really difficult for me.
